Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Workey when you use the service.

Who these terms are with

Workey ("the service") is operated by Best Programming LLC, established in Jordan. Our postal address is Amman/Jordan. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@getworkey.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

One account is for one person. Do not share an account with someone else.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Workey has a permanent free plan and paid plans billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Plan limits and prices are shown on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars, and any applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then reverts to the free plan.

We may change prices or plan limits. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects a subscription you already hold, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Refunds are covered by our refund and cancellation policy. Where consumer law gives you a statutory right to withdraw or a refund, that right is not affected by these terms.

Your content and your clients' data

You keep all rights to the projects, time entries, invoices, contracts, files and client details you put into Workey. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, back up and display that content so we can run the service for you.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store information about your clients and for the content of the invoices and contracts you send. Where we process your clients' personal data on your behalf, our data processing agreement applies, and our privacy policy explains what we do with your own data.

You can export your data at any time from your profile page. If you close your account we delete your content within 30 days, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.

AI features

Workey AI and AI Insights send the content you ask about to a third-party model provider so it can be processed. Output is generated automatically and can be wrong: check anything that matters, especially figures on an invoice or wording in a contract, before you rely on or send it. You remain responsible for what you send to your clients.

Electronic signatures

Workey lets you send contracts for electronic signature and records an audit trail of the signing. That record is evidence of the signature, not legal advice about it. Workey is not a party to any contract you make with your client, and we take no responsibility for its contents, enforceability or the outcome of any dispute about it. It is your responsibility to confirm that an electronic signature is valid for your agreement in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or send anything deceptive or fraudulent
send unsolicited bulk email through the service, or use it to harass anyone
upload malware, or attempt to breach, overload or probe our systems or another user's account
resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written permission
scrape or copy the service to build a competing product

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Availability, warranties and liability

We work to keep Workey available and our current status is published at /status, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export in your profile page exists for that.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Workey and close your account at any time. We may end or suspend the agreement if you materially break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service — in the last case we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give you notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Workey after that date means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, and the courts of Jordan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of their own country of residence where the law gives them that right.
