Paid vs pending
Workey freelance revenue tracking shows totals by period, project, and client with clear paid vs pending amounts.
Tied to invoices
Revenue comes from invoices you mark as paid—no spreadsheets, everything you log and bill flows into one view.
Filter and understand

Paid vs pending at a glance
Cash flow isn't just what you invoiced—it's what landed in your account. The Revenue page separates paid amounts from pending invoices so you know what's collected and what clients still owe. Filter by month or year and drill into projects and clients without a separate spreadsheet.
How revenue shows up for a project
Revenue in Workey is based on paid invoices. Each invoice is linked to a project, so when you mark an invoice as paid, that amount is counted as revenue for that project and appears on the Revenue page. Here’s the flow:
- 1
Create a project
Set up the project with a client name and rate (hourly or monthly). Revenue will be attributed to this project once invoices are paid.
- 2
Log time
Track hours on the project using the Timer or Timesheet. These time entries are the basis for what you'll bill.
- 3
Generate an invoice
From the Invoices page, create an invoice for the project and choose the date range. Workey pulls in the logged hours and calculates the amount.
- 4
Send and get paid
Send the invoice to your client (e.g. by email). When the client pays you, you record that in Workey.
- 5
Mark as paid
Mark the invoice as Paid. That amount is counted as revenue and shows up on the Revenue page for that project and period.
On the Revenue page you can filter by month or year, see total revenue (including VAT), and which projects generated revenue—all from the invoices you’ve marked as paid.
